Help with Everyday Challenges

Support can include family changes, school stress, bullying, grief, friendships, emotional awareness, behavior, and new responsibilities. Your counselor will explore your child’s needs and the goals that matter to your family.

Care for Their Stage of Life

Children and teens express themselves in different ways. Sessions may use conversation or age-appropriate activities, depending on the counselor’s approach and your child’s needs. Ask which approaches and age ranges your counselor works with.

What Your Family Can Expect

A welcoming start, a plan shaped around your child, and space to ask questions.

Begin with Understanding

Early appointments may include time with a parent or caregiver to discuss concerns, strengths, family history, and goals. Your counselor will explain who should attend and help your child become comfortable with the process.

Build Skills at Their Pace

Ongoing sessions may focus on identifying emotions, coping with stress, communicating needs, and navigating relationships. The approach and pace are shaped around your child’s age, development, and situation.

Partner with Parents & Caregivers

Discuss how caregivers will participate and how you can support progress at home. Your counselor will explain privacy, what information may be shared, and the limits of confidentiality before you begin.

Faith & Your Child’s Care

Our faith in Jesus inspires our care for children, teens, and families of every background. Your family’s beliefs and preferences are respected. Discuss with your counselor whether faith should be included in a way that fits your child’s needs and development.

Questions Before Scheduling

Ask about age ranges, counselor fit, consent requirements, scheduling, and fees. Our team can help you understand the next steps for your child or teen.
